What needs to change is the mission behind the company. What was once considered a pleasant by-product (profit) of capitialism is now what drives technology, efficiency and our jobs to other countries.

When will corporate welfare once again align itself with serving the community? When will the community embrace companies that are making these efforts instead of supporting the faceless giants that give them the cheapest goods? It's a zero committment game on both sides and our economy is starting to reap the fruits of this mindless approach.

Ultimately we are the losers as we lose our jobs, lose our natural FINITE resources at alarming rates and lose our souls in exchange for cheap prices and material wealth. We all do it and yet abhor it. It's a painful self-conflicting predicament.

If any of this makes sense to you, then go to the greenforall.org site and sign up for the conference coming up this April.
Van Jones who will be a keynote speaker there has made a strong connection between our abuse of the environment and poverty.

Ok I am going to get off my soapbox or turn off my broken-record now :)Aaronhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03607388015996166639noreply@blogger.com
